Our biggest (and brightest!) event of the year returns Saturday, December 6th, with our downtown Parade & Tree Lighting — a night filled with lights, music, magic…and thousands of our favorite people: YOU!

As we get ready to line the streets and watch cars, floats, tractors, trailers, tow trucks, and more roll through Downtown Hillsboro all decked out in lights, we want to share a friendly reminder:

Parade Safety Keeps the Magic Bright!

• Please keep a safe distance from moving floats and vehicles.

• Make sure little ones stay close to an adult—especially when candy is being tossed.

• Remain on sidewalks or behind marked barricades.

• If you’re crossing the street, use designated crossing points only.

Your safety helps make this the joyful, family-friendly tradition we all love.

The CARNIVAL is rolling into Historic Downtown Hillsboro for parade weekend!

It will be open Friday–Sunday, December 5th–7th, with additional information on dates and times coming soon. Get ready for rides, games, and festive treats!
