Hillsboro Municipal Airport is open with a new 4000 by 75-foot runway.  Hillsboro Municipal Airport is home to Aerial Ag Service LLC operations which service the farming community in Hill County, as well as numerous surrounding counties.  We are also positioned in an airspace that is great for student pilot training and recreational flying.  Just 5 Miles north of the center of Hillsboro we have two courtesy cars that can be used to explore the city and its restaurants.  Keep up with current activity on our social media page on Facebook. The Texas Aviation Advisory Committee of the Texas Department of Transportation has selected Hillsboro Municipal Airport as the 2026 Local/Basic Airport of the Year.

A video highlighting the airport and the recent project will be shown at the 44th Texas Aviation Conference (March31-April3).
